I love the way this verse paints a communal picture of our walk with Christ. Often we think of our spiritual life as an individual thing, something we do on our own. But it seems to me that God intends for our spiritual life to be shared with one another, growing together in our wisdom and walk with Christ. God apparently loves community.
That's not to say that we should neglect our time alone with God's word, prayer and worship, but I believe our spiritual life really comes to life when we're sharing it with others. We'll grow the most when we're studying, praying, and worshipping together with other believers.
"Lord, show me today how I can not only grow, but how I can grow together with others."
