Beautiful feet that bring beautiful news - Romans 10:15 Have you ever been the person that delivers good news? I mean really good news… the kind of news that changes lives: A positive doctors report after an accident, a first pregnancy, maybe even "Honey, I won the lottery!" It's an exhilarating experience, one that brings as much joy to the bearer of the news as it does the recipients! That's what Paul is describing to us in Romans 10:
How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" Romans 10:15
I get the picture of hearing the sound of footsteps approaching with good news, and it's a beautiful sound. And for the person that brought the good news, from that point on, each time their footsteps are heart approaching, the beauty of that news once again displays its radiance.
The gospel of "faith righteousness" is the most incredible truth that has ever permeated into this world, in that it brings a new way of living, a new way of loving, a new way of relationship with God, and with others. When we bring that news to others, it not only brings beauty to the lives of those with whom we share it, it brings beauty to our lives as well.
"Lord, allow me to be the beautiful feel that brings the good news of the gospel."
